Pine Grosbeaks, (Pinacola enucleator) are true finches, in the family Fringillidae, living in coniferous woods of the subarctic of North America and Eurasia. They favor fruit, such as Mountain Ash, and may venture much further south in winter when crops are low.  Males have pink color while females have brown.
