The Blue Grosbeak, Passerina caerulea,  is a member of the family Cardinalidae, within the Order Passeriformes that breeds in the southern US and northern Mexico, and winters in Central America. The blue of the male is replaced with brown in the female.  The first picture shows the Blue Grosbeak with the smaller Indigo Bunting.
