The Green Jay (Cyanoccorax yncas) is a colorful member of the Crow family (Corvidae). It only occurs in the US in southern Texas, with a more extensive range south to Honduras.  They have been observed using sticks to extract insects from tree bark. This gallery has pictures of some acting like Oxpeckers, on Peccary, and includes a bluish mutant.
