The Wrentit (Chamaea fasciata) is found in coastal habitat along the west coast of North America from Oregon to Baja California in Mexico.   There has been much uncertainty as to its relationships but is not closely related to  a wren nor a tit.  It has been currently placed in family, Paradoxornithidae.
