The Sedge Wren  (Cistothorus stellaris) breed in eastern North America, west of the Appalachians down to Missouri and Arkansas, preferring wet meadows or  grasslands, nesting in tall grass or sedges.  In winter they may move further south to coastal areas from Florida to Texas.  It was recently split off from the Grass Wren of Central and South America, and its specific name changed from C. platensis.
