The Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, (Polioptila caerulea) is in the family Poliptidae in the Order Passerformes.  It breeds in open deciduous forest and shrublands through southern Ontario, eastern and southwest Us into Mexico.  Females are less blue than the males.
