Cliff Swallows, Petrochelidon pyrrhonota, are colonial nesters of the family Hirundinidae in the Order Passeriformes.  They were recently in the genus Hirundo, but this was changed with DNA analysis.   They breed across much of the US and Canada and less is know about their wintering range in South America.
