The Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) is the only member of its family represented in most of the Eastern United States.  During migration, many of these tiny birds fly non-stop across the Gulf of Mexico.  Here, they are roughly arranged by sex. with feeders shots near the bottom, followed by videos.
